Goaltender Clinic announced

SPRMHA is pleased to partner with Paul Drew to offer Goaltender Development Sessions for the 2015-2016 season. There will be 8  one hour sessions running from October to December. If there is sufficient interest, we will run additional sessions from January to March. The cost for these sessions is $80 for all 8 sessions. There will be a maximum of 16 goalies per session.

Each session will have 6 stations with 2 goalies per station along with a center ice skating station. Feedback and report cards will be provided for each goalie.

Goalie coaches/coaches  from SPRMHA teams are strongly encouraged to attend. They will learn drills, lesson plans and help instruct. Coaches can bring 2 shooters from their team as well. Paul will serve as head instructor and will have two senior instructors with Junior A experience or higher who will rotate between the stations.

The Sunday morning times are at 6:00 AM on Cari A.

The Wednesday evening times are at 6:30 PM on Cari A.

These sessions will be offered on a first come first served basis and are open first to goalies from Novice to Pee Wee. If space permits, we will open it to Bantam and Midget goalies as well. Bantam and Midget goalies can have their names placed on a waiting list. Payment for all 8 sessions is due at the first session. About Paul Drew:
Paul Drew is Andrews Hockey  Head Goaltending Instructor. Paul was a professional goalie for the Dayton Bombers of the East Coast Hockey League. He also spent time in the West Coast Senior Hockey League and the Ligue nord- americaine de Hockey. Before going professional, Paul played for the UPEI Panthers (AUS) and for the Plymouth Whalers where he posted the lowest GAA among all goalies in the Ontario Hockey League for 3 consecutive years. Paul has an extensive background working at goalie programs dating back to 1997. He is presently the Goaltending Coach for the Charlottetown Islanders in the QMJHL along with training many up and coming goaltenders through Andrews Hockey.
