AA and AAA Announcement
The Sherwood Parkdale Rural Minor Hockey Association and Charlottetown Minor Hockey Association are very pleased to announce that they have an agreement in place to offer combined male teams at Bantam and Midget for both the AA and AAA levels starting this fall.
The teams will be known as the Central Attack with a new colour scheme being unveiled in early fall.
The Associations are very excited about this partnership as it will allow players in Bantam and Midget at the A, AA and AAA levels the opportunity to play on competitive teams while at the same time providing players at the lower age groups quality teams on which they can strive to participate. In this era of sports specialization at a young age, it is crucial for player retention that we have competitive, quality teams at the older age groups. The Associations feel this agreement will allow us to build strong, solid, competitive teams at the older age groups that will complement the success the Associations have experienced at the younger age groups.
Quality coaching is one of the foundational components of any successful team and sports organization. We are very excited that Jeff MacDonald has been announced as the Head Coach of our Central Attack Bantam AAA team and are pleased to take this opportunity to announce that Jeff has added the following Assistant Coaches to his coaching staff: Alex Hannam and Curtis McGregor.
In an effort to add to the strong Central Attack coaching group, the Associations are calling for coaching applications for the 2017/18 hockey season for the following Central Attack teams:
Bantam AA
Midget AA
Midget AAA
The deadline for applications is August 14. Applications can be found on the CMHA and SPRMHA websites.
