Attention Pee Wee Players and Parents
SPRMHA has been informed that the Charlottetown Minor Hockey Association (CMHA) will not be offering a Pee Wee AAA program for the 2018-19 hockey season. The Hockey PEI memo can be seen here.
CMHA made every effort to offer Pee Wee AAA in Charlottetown. They had a coaching staff in place, held tryouts, held parent meetings encouraging players to play at that level, explored player movement options but simply did not have the numbers to offer a Pee Wee AAA program as only a small number of players indicated a willingness to play Pee Wee AAA. As a result, those CMHA players deemed eligible to attend SPRMHA tryouts as per the Hockey PEI memo will be able to tryout with SPRMHA if interested.
